ALL CAMPERS MUST COMPLETE A CURRENT PHYSICAL FORM ALONG WITH A DOCTOR'S PERMISSION AND MUST PROVIDE A COPY OF INSURANCE BEFORE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY CAMP.
 

Camp 1 - Day Camp - July 7-10, 2008
The Bama Baseball Camp will hold a 4 day camp that is designed specifically for the younger players. This day camp will allow players to work hard all day and still make their games at night. The camp will provide intense instruction on hitting, pitching, infield and outfield play, catching, base running, bunting, and much more. Campers will have an opportunity to play in instructional games each day.

Participants in the Bama Baseball Camp will be supervised from registration until dismissal. The Bama Baseball Camp will be conducted at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. In addition to Sewell-Thomas, local high school fields, Coleman Coliseum and the Alabama weight room and recreational complex will be used. Campers will be transported to facilities using the Tuscaloosa County buses.

Please bring glove, cap, batting gloves, baseball shoes, sneakers, and bats. Catchers should bring their own gear if possible. Please mark camper's name on all items. The camp is not responsible for lost belongings.

Please include a $100.00 non-refundable deposit with camp application. The remainder of the balance, if any, will be due at registration. Once an application is received, directions to the camp and additional information will be mailed or emailed. Each camp participant is required to provide his own medical insurance along with a current physical form with a doctor's permission form.

Eligibility and Tuition: The day camp is open to players who are entering 1st through 5th grade.

Cost: $200 - Camp Hours: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

Camp 2 - Day Camp - July 14-17
The Bama Baseball Camp will hold a 4 day camp that is designed to help players take their game to the next level. This day camp will allow players to work hard all day and still make their games at night. Instruction will include the proper techniques of hitting, pitching, infield and outfield play, catching, base running and team defense. We are committed to providing the best possible instruction to each individual in all phases of the game. Games will also be played and supervised by our coaches who teach and review proper techniques during the games. This is a great opportunity for players to incorporate the techniques they have been taught and to improve their confidence in their abilities.

Camp 3 - Pitching and catching Camp - July 23, 2008
The Alabama Pitching and Catching Camp is designed for pitchers and catchers who need intense instruction at these positions. Pitchers will receive instruction on mechanics, pitch options, pick-offs, and strategy. Catchers will learn the art of the catching position including receiving, blocking and throwing as well as pop-ups and bunt defense.

Camp 4 - Hitting Camp - July 30, 2008
The Alabama hitting camp teaches fundamentals and techniques of hitting by the Alabama Baseball coaching staff. Players will learn the fundamentals of the swing, hitting drills and tips on how to become a better hitter.

Super 60 Camp - August 2, 2008
Staff:
Head Coach Jim Wells, Coach Mitch Gaspard and Coach Dax Norris
What: MVP Showcase/Pro-Style work-out, hands on hitting and fielding instruction and inter-squad games. Pitcher will receive personalized instruction and will throw in the inter-squad games.
Where: Sewell-Thomas Stadium
Who: Grades 10-12 on first come/first serve basis: limited to first 60 applicants
What to Bring: Bats, Gloves, Tennis Shoes, Cleats, Helmet (Catchers bring your own gear)
Time: 9:00 AM -12:00 PM Session 1 (12:00-1:00 PM lunch on your own) - Pitchers only (check-in at 12:00 PM) - 1:00 - until... Session 2
Cost: $175 ($100 pitchers only) - non-refundable - entire amount due with completed application
